This is a close up of trichomes on a cannabis plant. The trichomes are the frosty looking bits on the bud of the plant making them almost look like Christmas trees. They are responsible for producing and storing THC, the compounds that give cannabis its unique effects.
I started painting pot plants a couple of years ago to help erase the stigma of this wonderful plant. They're beautiful, exotic and so helpful in medicine. I hope you celebrate as well :)
Painted for those who celebrate 4/20 everyday.
